VETERINARY SPECIALISTS INC. is family owned and operated by Dr. Robert Prosek and Dr. Teresa Tucci. The specialty clinic has a cardiologist (Dr. Prosek), ophthalmologist (Dr. Tucci) and radiologist (Dr. Watson) on staff. Veterinary Specialists is located in Homestead, a city that has grown quite extensively in the last few years.

SOUTHEAST VETERINARY REFERRAL CENTER (SVRC) is owned and operated by Dr. Pedro Armstrong and Dr. Terry Carro. The specialty clinic has two internal medicine specialists (Dr. Armstrong & Dr. Carro), an oncologist (Dr. Armando Villamil) and a behaviorist (Dr. Lisa Radosta). SVRC is also the home of the PET EMERGENCY ROOM, a 24 hour emergency clinic, which is also run by the SVRC staff.
